Finally caught a flight due to leave Boston at 5.40pm which left around 7.30pm - after a long wait in the plane for the food to arrive. First it was the food trolley had tipped over so they had to get a new load, and then the truck brining it to the plane broke down! The good news I was able to snag an isle seat in the full plane.
Arrived 10.40pm in SFO, straight to my good value Hilton (with a very nice room!) and bed at 1.00am (4.30am Boston time). With no kids to join me in the night I slept well and was up at 8.00am for a 3 1/2 mile run along the side of the bay in sunshine!
Getting ready to leave for Honkers - have checked in am at the gate and have a middle seat on a full flight - can I get that isle seat?......we will see!
