Finally arrived Hong Kong just after 5.00pm local time, and it would be 50 hours travel time door to door once I get to Alastair's and shevaun's apartment.m, and no I did not manage to change my seat allocation so had 14 hour in the centre seat!
A fast train from the airport to Hong Kong where Alastair picked me up, and after a clandestine pick up of 26 pairs of sunglasses for his Team dress for the HK 7's we arrived at his flat in Happy Valley. Busy traffic as it was "racing night" at the track right beside the apartment - too tired to go we had dinner and I slept like a baby. I got to the apartment just in time for Clara's bath and to read her her bedtime stories.
