Priceline works!

Because of my delays I am going to have to spend a night in San Francisco. I checked out the lowest prices I could get in Hotels close to the airport using my trusted Kayak travel site, and then bid at 50% off those prices on Priceline - it worked! Could not believe it, will be staying at the Hilton for less than 50% or the lowest price they have on their web site. Priceline has of course been around a long time but I have always been reluctant to bid on an unspecified Hotel - even if one can specify the number of ***** you want to stay at. Try it next time you need a Hotel.
